I am originally from Kyoto, Japan, so I tend to “represent” a bit, because I have zero shame in my culture. I have lived in the US for over 20 years, and have currently resided in Massachusetts for the past several years. If you're curious, I live rather close to Boston. Surfing the net, gaming (both console and PC), music, travel, some sports, culture, cooking, family, gardening (house plant junkie!, also like growing veggies and such since childhood), playing with my son, he's a riot! ^__^

  • Wow... hmm.. miyavi!, but I also enjoy most Japanese and Korean rock, pop, hip hop... Always had a place in my heart for “made a mark on the world” musicians like Bob Marley, Matsumoto Takahiro (Tak), Hendrix

  • Chunhyang will always be my top favorite film. When asked this question, it's the first one that comes to mind without having to think about it.

  • I'd like to see movies my friends like that I haven't seen yet. ^__^ Because if I have a lot in common with someone, chances are, I'll enjoy the film too. ^__^

  • I'm pretty much open to any recommended book, as long as it's not the Twilight Saga... lol.

  • Healthy foods, that are fresh! I don't like junk in my body, so I avoid fast foods, processed foods and foods with preservatives. I eat a traditionally Buddhist diet. I do not agree with causing harm to other sentient beings to maintain my own life, it's not necessary. ^__^

  • My home town of Kyoto, England, wilderness. Chicago C-town.

  • Easter Island, Africa.. my list used to be longer, but I've been to the places on that list, and Easter Island and Africa are the only ones left.. lol.

  • Does my man count as my “other interest”? I mean, because he certainly is interesting.. he's great to talk to and spend time with, he's never boring in conversation or otherwise.. so I guess he is not only my boyfriend but my “other interest”.. lol!
