I'm interested in

To the fellas interested in meeting modern women: I seriously recommend you pick up a skillet and learn how to cook. And they say the way to man's heart is through his stomach...pffft! That person obviously never met a 21st Century woman. Girls gotta eat, too!

  • MGMT, The Killers, Beck, The Darkness, Death Cab for Cutie, Corinne Bailey Rae, Jamiroquai, Alex Clare, Silversun Pickups...*phew*...there's more, I'm just tired of typing.

  • My Netflix queue has been taken over by documentaries, of all things. I guess now that I'm convincingly in my thirties my tastes have changed. Food, Inc., Food Matters, Fast Food Nation, Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, Forks Over Knives, King Corn, Hungry for Change (which is NOW on Netflix! I'm still ticked off that I paid full price for this...but still worth a watch).

  • Iron Man 3 and uh...umm...that's all I got for now.

  • I'm back on the “Company” series by Kage Baker. Yeah, the WHOLE series and it's various expansions are so good that I'm reading it...AGAIN! Except this time I'm buying all the digis for the Kindle app. Wuddup!

  • I've had the desire to go through the Dragonriders of Pern series again. I had no idea it went all the way back to the 60's!

  • People are bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling! Imagine my surprise when I saw this on a bumper sticker and then saw it on 'Scrubs' just a day later on Netflix...creepy!

  • I have yet to meet a plant I didn't like. My next great leap is to go mostly raw, plant-based. It's a work in progress and I'm learning a lot as I go...for example; I no longer NEED caffeine to make it through the morning into the afternoon which usually requires ANOTHER infusion of super caffeine. Without any of those drinks my energy levels are just dandy...and alarmingly even throughout the day.

  • The movie theater, specifically The Arena Grand in the Arena District here in beautiful, up and coming downtown Columbus...that's a lot of words.

  • Ireland, for sure...and maybe Germany and definitely the UK.

  • I love gaming on pretty much every platform (what tv sets are REALLY good for), I cook like a fiend, training to run 5ks because it's fun and not because I want to fund some obscure charity seems to be working for me and bicycling...I LOVE bicycling although I haven't been able to get out to do much of it in '12...maybe lucky number '13 will be better for that...
