You may have heard that life gets better. Or you may have heard it gets worse. Well, that depends upon YOU. Life gets us what we make of it. If you wrap yourself in all the negative crap of the past (believe me, I've had much negative crap in my own past), life will not improve. It will only stagnate or worse, it will spiral downward.

Education and Work:
I'm interested in
Writing, Photography, Traveling
(traveling, taking photos and, when done, I write travel books about my experiences)
Most any genre, except heavy metal and rap. I especially like classical, light rock and Native American music.
Dances With Wolves, Same Time Next Year, Flash Dance, West Side Story, Elizabethtown, etc.
None that I can bring to mind. The newer movies are nothing but special effects vehicles with little or no plotline.
Too many to list. I like novels, especially suspense and horror, if by Stephen King and the histories of Ireland, American Indians and Russia.
Just got a nook COLOR and am presently filling it up with reading material for the road.
If a man loses pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured, or far away. ~ Henry David Thoreau
“Not all who wander are lost.” ~ Tolkien
The major problems in the world are the result of the difference between
how nature works and the way people think. ~ Gregory Bateson
Not to have known--as most men have not--either the mountain or the desert is not to have known oneself. ~ Joseph Ward Krutch
Ireland, Erie, PA, most all of our national parks and nationsl historic sites. I love the mountains, forests and waterfalls.
I have traveled around the world visiting 16 countries.
“The woods are lovely dark and deep, but I have promises to keep. And miles to go before I sleep...” ~ Robert Frost
Most every place I haven't seen yet. I am planning an extensive trip trhough New England in the summer of 2012, then will winter in Florida near my children and grandchildren.
“You will find that it is all very familiar...the strange and faraway places where you've never been. The wild unknown leads you to a place just around the corner. Take a picture when you get there...the road is you.
J. Bebe - R. Hammond From the film Elizabethtown
