About me:

I was born in an ocean canoe off the coast of St. Helena Island, although it wasn't called that back then. That is what the old man who looked after me when I was a boy had told me, all those many years ago.
I was once a wealthy man, I had cattle, gold, horse and land. Time moves us all, and often in directions we do not anticipate. If I'd of ever suspected that I'd be around this long, certainly I'd have learned more languages.

I'm interested in

I enjoy dancing. I like to sing. I drink coconut milk when I can get it. I like pie, with almost any filling. My wife is endlessly interesting to me, she's smart. I like conversation over any other medium of entertainment. I particularly enjoy it when conversation is paired with a decent meal, usually one I've prepared as I am an excellent cook. I'm a fairly decent bottle washer too. I like to shoot guns, ride horses, fly in hot air balloons, and watch birds.

  • “I Confess” by the “English Beat” is a super duper little ditty. “That's Entertainment” by “The Jam” also strikes a cord. Anything really. I loved the advent of polyphonic and sustained pitch back in the early Tudor dynasty.

  • Big fan of Wes Anderson movies. Quirky, sad, shocking. that's what I like in film.

  • Moonrise Kingdom.

  • Never had a book I didn't like yet.
