I am an *exhausted* new mother. But I must say, it is rewarding.
Before you call me a libtard or a demorat, I am a moderate independent. I just prefer common sense, and both parties hate the hell out of that.
Education and Work:
I'm interested in
-Pro-adoption (vocal advocate); Neutral on matters of abortion.
-Very happily married as of 7/2012.
- Moderate knowledge in criminal justice.
-Advocate for animal adoption instead of breeding
-Non-denominational Christian; Recently separated from the Catholic Church
-Former singer - May go back. Reason why I left? See point number 1.
I don't have a favorite song or genre. I love good music. I grew up immersed in music and culture and logic and patterns of all kinds of music. I know what I like, and if I like it, it's probably good.
I have always been a fan of little sappy children's movies, because I miss that time in my life. I have grown up, though, realizing that it was time for me to stop pining for my prince charming and go out and find my very logical, opinionated balance. I succeeded, and I can truly say I'm in love. I suppose it's even better that he's a music producer. Such similar lives.
I was never a movie/television watcher. I always had something to do, things that needed to be accomplished. However, I look forward to the cute movies that come out, because I enjoy taking my nieces to see Disney movies and hearing their little voices awe over imaginary things. Oh youth.
I am in love with love. Yes, I read romance books. I don't care for twilight. Teen fluff fiction never was my thing. I don't read new books very often anymore because it has a tendency to change my writing style, which causes clashes in my books. A big no-no for a writer.
Hopefully one day I will be able to read my own books when they get published into mainstream media.
“A man who will stand for nothing will fall for anything.” -Martin Luther King, Jr.
“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children...to leave the world a better place...to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson
Like good music, I don't have a favorite food. I have a fondness for food prepared with care and knowledge. Yes, you can eat a hamburger just about anywhere, but if you eat a hamburger that has been dropped on the floor or mixed with rotted meat as opposed to a hamburger freshly prepared with just-opened ingredients, wouldn't you have two completely different perspectives on your so-called “favorite food?” For the record though, I enjoy fresh salmon sashimi.
I enjoyed Rome and Athens when I went there some years ago. I have desired to go back! Domestically, I love Los Angeles. I never got the chance to enjoy it until recently, and I am glad for the time that I did enjoy it.
I would love to go to Japan. Not only because I'm an avid gamer, but also because my boyfriend and I have such an interest in the culture. We love east asia.
I am a lover of children. I have three nieces and three nephews; all six of them are very close to my heart. I, however, despite my desires, have decided that children can wait a little longer. I would like to spoil my siblings' children before I take on my own!
