I'm interested in

• Music:

  I'm still a fan of Nickelback. I went to see Godsmack recently just because StainD was opening for them. Stone Temple Pilots also put on a great concert at the Bangor Waterfront. There's not too many “new” bands that I like -- do all the bands sound alike now or am I just getting old? No need to answer that last question!

• Movies:

  Last movie I saw in a theater -- “John Carter” at the Monaco in Huntsville, AL. Before that it was Breaking Dawn, Part I. Favorite movie? I like lots of different genres, so it's hard to pick just one. The Wizard of Oz was my first favorite, so it always comes to mind. I made it a point to see all of the Twilight movies, because I read the books. Best movie I've seen lately? The Help. If you haven't seen The Ramen Girl with late, beautiful Brittney Murphy -- you should watch it.

• Movies I want to see:

  Oz the Great and Powerful
  Twilight: Breakling Dawn, Part II (check)

• Books:

  The Sookie Stackhouse novels; The Twilight Series; The Bridge Across Forever; most recently, The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo

• Books I want to read:

  The Secret, The Help, etc.

• Foods:

  I like to mix it up at home -- sometimes Mexican, sometimes Italian or Chinese, and don't forget southern style barbecue with all the “fixins”. I also make a delicious beef stroganoff. I'm no gourmet, but I am a damn good cook!

• Places:

  Beaches, particularly white sand beaches, though I'm growing quite fond of mountains.

• Places I want to visit:

  Italy, France, Greece, Great Britain -- Old World places full of history and wonders of the past. Places with stone roads and castles. And then there's the hot, sunny, literally delicious tropical islands -- I really don't care which ones, I'm not that picky. Any of them would be delightful!

• Other interests:

  Photography, Advocating for Family Rights, Fostering Shelter Animals
